What is Coaching?
Although the idea of having a “coach” may be foreign to you, you may want to think of it as a gift that will assist you in the process of defining a clear path for your future. You may be wondering, “what exactly is a coach?” Let me start by explaining some differences between counseling/therapy, consulting and coaching. Therapy is a medical model that mostly deals with emotional resolutions to issues that have happened in your past. Consulting is service in which you are seeking to solve problem with expert advice on a particular subject matter. Coaching is a focused partnership which is aimed at setting and achieving goals with the guided assistance of a professional. In this partnership your coach asks helpful questions, focusing on your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges according to the goals you have set.
You may have specific needs in terms of coaching which may be personal, professional or even project oriented. Personal coaching may have its roots in the development of personal goals such as self-reflection, building confidence or conflict management. Professional goals may include career change, stress management or leadership development. Finally, project oriented goals may include assisting you in clearly defining and developing your upcoming projects.

I will support you with encouragement and clear goals to assist you in the process of becoming all you were created to be.
